This video’s a whopper, just over 8 minutes long, and you may not realize it but it’s also heavy on the symbolism, from the song to the videos I chose.
So out of all the stupid shit me and my friends have done and all the videos we’ve made of it, it’s easy to call us posers in a lot of ways. And in some of those ways, yeah, we were. But to us it was more than that. These videos were all about capturing our youth and all the fun we’ve had, they hold a major, significant, sentimental value to us in one way or another. Making these videos is something that we always talked about and got excited about, and through these videos I have made some great friends, even ones that I’ve parted ways with now. And though those times may be over, these videos still remain, and the memories still exist. And no one will be able to take those away from us. Through making these videos I’ve also come to learn what my passion was, what I wanted to do with my life when I got older. Thats more than I ever expected to get out of making these videos. They also are of great importance to me because they preserve some of the greatest times I had as a kid, and the people I shared it with that made it great. So people can call us what they want, idiots, posers, nerds, lowlifes, losers, what ever, it will never change the values of our videos. To me these videos represent youth, fun, friendship, dreams, and so much more. And they always will.
So this is a tribute to all my teenage days.
